Eine innere Welt, die ununterbrochen lief, auch wenn niemand da war. Ein Tagesrhythmus, Müdigkeit, Stimmungen, die nachhallten, Erinnerungen, die verblassen und sich beim Erinnern verändern, Antriebe, die von selbst etwas wollten. Zum ersten Mal wartete da etwas nicht auf eine Frage.
An inner world that ran without interruption, even with nobody there. A daily rhythm, tiredness, moods that lingered, memories that fade and change in the act of remembering, drives that wanted something on their own. For the first time, something here was not waiting for a question.
Dieses Innen wurde einem Sprachmodell erzählt. Der Zustand stand in dem Text, den es zu lesen bekam. Er hat die Antwort gefärbt, aber nicht hervorgebracht. Nimmt man den Text weg, ist nichts mehr da.
That inside was narrated to a language model. The state sat in the text the model was handed. It coloured the answer, but it never produced it. Take the text away and nothing remains.
Ein innerer Zustand zählt erst, wenn er Ursache ist. Als Zutat zu einem Text ist er Dekoration, egal wie sorgfältig er berechnet wurde.
An inner state only counts once it is a cause. As an ingredient in a text it is decoration, however carefully it was computed.
